The governor of Taliban in Panjshir says that the preliminary works of iron extraction from the Perian district mine will start soon.
The Taliban governor’s office published a newsletter and said that this three-year project is worth 70 million dollars and a local company has won it.
Afghan National Television, which operates under the control of the Taliban, reported that with the start of this project, construction and social programs worth $800,000 will be implemented in the center and districts of Panjshir.
This is the first time that the Taliban reports about iron mining in Panjshir.
