Holding a meeting on Afghan women by the United States Department of State
A meeting about Afghan women is expected to be held at the headquarters of the US State Department next week.
Some of the domestic media of Afghanistan reported, quoting Boston University, that in this meeting on Tuesday, February 27, the focus will be on vital investments and support for Afghan women and girls, including education, entrepreneurship and support systems.
According to the report, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Reina Amiri, the country’s special representative for women, girls and human rights in Afghanistan, and Tom West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, will participate in the meeting.
