Local sources in Herat have informed about the interruption of electricity imported from Turkmenistan to this province.

Sources say that the electricity imported from Turkmenistan to Herat has been cut off since the morning of Tuesday, August 8.

The reason for the cut off of the imported electricity has not been determined, and the Taliban have not said anything about it.

At the same time, there are reports that Iran’s imported electricity to Herat has also decreased by 50%.

On the other hand, the residents of Herat say that following the snowfall, the cold temperature in this province is now below zero and the lack of electricity has caused them problems.
