The promise of scholarships for Afghan youth from China
The Taliban government has announced that the Chinese ambassador in Kabul has pledged to provide scholarships for Afghan youth.
The Taliban announced on page X that Mullah Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Taliban’s Prime Minister’s Office, met with Zhao Jing, the Chinese ambassador in Kabul.
In addition, Ambassador Zhao Jing has said that his country will provide scholarships in medical and other fields for Afghan youth.
The Chinese ambassador also discussed economic relations and copper mines with the deputy ministers of the Taliban. According to Mullah Kabir, their government expects more economic aid from China and asks this country to invest in the construction of highways, railways and other big projects in Afghanistan
.Although China does not officially recognize the Taliban government, it interacts with them and is the first country to send its official ambassador to Kabul.
