Reopening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kabul
The Taliban group has announced that the Embassy of Azerbaijan has been reopened in Kabul for the first time.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban group, says that the diplomats of this group will soon be sent to Azerbaijan at the level of ambassadors.
He has asked the international community to restore diplomatic relations with the government of the Taliban group in Afghanistan.
At the same time, the ambassador of Azerbaijan held separate meetings with the political deputy of the prime minister’s office and the acting minister of interior and emphasized the expansion of political and economic relations between the two countries.
Although the issue of officialization of the Taliban group is not clear yet, the Taliban group has representative offices in 38 countries.
