Pakistan claims that there is a center of terrorism in Afghanistan
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif has described Afghanistan as a “source of terrorism” in that country and has stated that despite Islamabad’s efforts, the Taliban have not made any progress in this regard.
By stating this issue on his X page, he has announced that due to the increase in “terrorist incidents”, it is necessary to make fundamental changes in the state of the borders.
The Defense Minister added: “Afghanistan is known as the source of terrorism in Pakistan and although we [Islamabad] are trying to improve the situation, the Taliban have not taken any steps in this regard, even if they are aware that terrorists are attacking Pakistan from their soil.
” “He stated that the Afghanistan-Pakistan border is different from other traditional borders of the world and currently, due to the non-cooperation of the Taliban, Islamabad does not have to comply with all international laws and traditions on this border.
Not long ago, Pakistan’s defense minister announced that militants are using Afghan soil to carry out attacks inside the country, adding that some of the facilitators of these attacks have been identified and Islamabad has discussed this issue with the Taliban.
