A number of European countries are ready to recognize the independent state of Palestine

آماده گی شماری از کشور های اروپایی برای به رسمیت شناختن دولت مستقل فلسطینی

Recent reports indicate that Ireland, Spain and a number of European Union countries are considering recognizing Palestine as a state. This news, which was broadcast by National TV Ireland, also informs about the increase in diplomatic contacts between these countries and the recognition of the common Palestine.

According to a report by TV Ireland, these countries are eagerly awaiting the United Nations General Assembly vote on Friday (May 10). This important vote could pave the way for the recognition of Palestine as a full-fledged member of the United Nations.

Earlier in March, Spain, Ireland, Malta and Slovenia announced in a joint statement that they have agreed to take the first steps to recognize the Palestinian state.

However, this move is not without opposition. Israel and the United States have announced that the opposition will recognize the independent state of Palestine. Israel considers the Palestinian state a threat to its security, while Washington says that the establishment of a state for the Palestinians is only possible through direct negotiations with Israel.
