NATO consolation to Zelensky to continue supporting this country even if Trump wins
After the recent concern of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the possible victory of Donald Trump, the republican candidate in the 2024 US presidential election and the termination of US military aid to Kiev, Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) says that even if Trump’s victory will continue to support this agreement with Ukraine.
Stoltenberg said on Tuesday, June 4, that Russia’s victory over Ukraine would make the world “more dangerous” and NATO member states “more vulnerable.”He emphasized that the strengthening of Russian defense industry has exceeded NATO’s expectations.
