Taliban corruption in meat distribution; Common people returned empty-handed after waiting for hours!

Taliban in Herat Distributed Sacrificial Meat from a Turkish Organization to Their Affiliates.

According to the local sources in Herat province report that the Taliban’s Red Crescent department in the province has distributed sacrificial meat donated by a Turkish charity organization to individuals affiliated with the group. This comes as a number of needy people who had previously received vouchers for the sacrificial meat aid were humiliated by the Taliban and returned empty-handed after waiting for hours yesterday.

Based on the information, the Turkish charity foundation “Diyanet” had provided around 26,250 kilograms of sacrificial meat to the Red Crescent Society under the Taliban’s control in Herat to be distributed among 5,250 needy families. However, instead of delivering the aid to those in need, the Taliban group allocated it to their madrasah students and close associates. The Taliban have not yet responded to this matter.
