Tragic Incident in Ghazni: Child Killed in Explosion

Security officials of the Taliban in Ghazni have reported the unfortunate death of a 10-year-old child due to a mine explosion in the Qarabagh district of this province.

The Taliban’s media office in Ghazni confirmed in a newsletter that the child lost his life on Saturday morning, 30th of Cancer (corresponding to July 20th), in the village of Malook in Qarabagh district, as a result of the explosion of an unexploded ordnance remaining from previous wars.

According to the newsletter, the child was occupied with herding livestock and inadvertently played with the ordnance after discovering it, resulting in its detonation and the tragic loss of life.

Similar events have consistently claimed the lives of citizens across the country, particularly children, in various locations.

Following today’s dinner, two others also lost their lives in a similar incident in Parwan province, and six more were injured.
