Director Abhinav Kashyap revealed that 8 lakh rupees (approximately $10,000) were spent on digital effects to hide Salman Khan’s under-eye puffiness in the movie Dabangg.
The filmmaker also disclosed that the famous actor was afraid to perform stunts in front of audiences during filming.
In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Kashyap stated that Salman feared slipping and falling in front of crowds who gathered to watch the shooting.
The actor refused to film a stunt sequence that required running on muddy ground.
The director also claimed that Salman’s face was digitally enhanced and alleged that the actor used artificial abs in some films.
These revelations come amid Kashyap’s ongoing feud with Salman Khan, where he has accused the actor and his family of being “criminals” due to financial disputes and delayed payments.
The director claims he incurred significant debts during the film’s production because of Salman’s payment delays.
