Khawaja Asif, Pakistan’s Defense Minister, strongly rejected negotiations with the Taliban group in a post on X, criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party for bringing thousands of Taliban members to Pakistan.

He stated that despite years of negotiations with the Afghan government, bloodshed in Pakistan has not stopped.

Asif, referring to hosting 6 million Afghan refugees for 60 years, demanded their return home.

He said Pakistan has paid the price of this hospitality with its own blood.

These statements came after unidentified airstrikes targeted locations in Kabul, which Pakistan is suspected of conducting.

The Taliban spokesperson confirmed the explosion but has refrained from providing further details.

Some sources reported that leaders of the Pakistani Taliban movement in Kabul were targeted in these attacks.
