According to the organization’s statement: “Initial technical investigations indicate that the attack originated from within Afghanistan,” raising serious concerns about efforts to silence independent media voices.
The Afghanistan Future team emphasized in their statement: “This attack is not only against a media outlet, but against freedom of expression and the right of Afghan journalists to report without fear and pressure.”
The media has been committed to publishing truth and reflecting the voice of the Afghan people since its establishment.
The outlet declared: “We will continue our work with determination and honesty, and we are working to restore our digital operations safely as soon as possible.” They also thanked supporters of media freedom and emphasized that “truth cannot be silenced.”
