Local sources in Ghazni province report that a traffic collision between a Taliban Ranger vehicle and a 580 passenger bus has left two Taliban members dead. The accident occurred last night in the “Kotal-e-Rawza” area of the first security district .
In addition to the fatalities within the Taliban vehicle, four civilians traveling in the bus, including three women, sustained injuries. The injured have been transported to medical facilities, though the Taliban group has not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident .
Reckless driving is cited as the primary cause of the crash. Residents have frequently complained about Taliban members disregarding traffic laws and driving at dangerous speeds, a behavior that continues to cause fatal accidents involving both their own personnel and innocent civilians .
