The police command of the Taliban administration in Laghman province has confirmed that one person lost their life due to a residential roof collapse. In this tragic incident, which occurred in the Dawlat Shah district, five other individuals were also severely injured.
Local authorities stated that the house had been heavily damaged by recent intense and continuous rainfall in the region. All the victims and injured people trapped under the heavy debris are members of the same family.
According to statistics from disaster management authorities, various natural disasters have caused significant casualties across the country in recent months. Floods and sudden roof collapses have tragically claimed dozens of lives and injured hundreds of citizens.
