Under this new system, Uzbek merchants can display their goods on a specific platform, allowing Afghan buyers to purchase them directly. All payments are securely processed through bank guarantees to significantly reduce financial risks during cross-border trade.
Uzbek officials believe this method will substantially boost trade volume between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Despite not formally recognizing the Taliban government, Uzbekistan continues to maintain strong commercial and political relationships with the country.
