Three individuals tragically lost their lives as a result of a fatal traffic accident in the Khanashin district of Helmand province. During this heartbreaking incident, four other people were severely injured, with some reported to be in critical condition.
Local officials of the Taliban government in the province have confirmed the occurrence of this collision, stating that the injured were immediately transferred to the provincial hospital. Doctors at the hospital are currently working hard to save the lives of the critical patients.
Citizens across the country continuously complain about the terrible condition of the roads and the complete lack of traffic signs. Road accidents remain one of the most deadly causes of human casualties in Afghanistan, requiring urgent and serious attention.
