India's Ministry of External Affairs has announced the dispatch of 20 tons of vaccines and medical supplies to Kabul, aiming to immunize Afghan children. This initiative is part of India's ongoing humanitarian assistance efforts directed toward Afghanistan.

Randhir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, stated that the shipment includes BCG, tetanus, and diphtheria vaccines, along with essential dry medical supplies. He also noted that the delivery of additional medical shipments is currently underway.

Jaiswal emphasized that India remains firmly committed to supporting the Afghan people in the health and medical services sectors. Over the past year, India has sent numerous medical consignments, including vital medicines and therapeutic equipment, to Afghanistan.
