The United Front of Afghanistan announced on Friday that its forces killed at least 8 Taliban members and wounded 11 others over the past two days. According to the front, six operations were conducted across Kandahar, Helmand, Ghor, Baghlan, and Badakhshan provinces.
The front claims its forces seized two Taliban centers and captured weapons and ammunition. In Kandahar, a senior Taliban police officer and another member were killed in Security District 15. A Taliban commander was also killed in Helmand.
In Ghor province, two Taliban were killed and four wounded, with one Taliban base seized. Taliban officials have not responded to these claims.
