Taliban forces have taken over the Khatam al-Nabiyyin seminary in Kabul, one of the largest Shia educational centers in the capital, after claiming to have found a weapons cache.
Officials said they seized three rocket launchers, two PK machine guns, 20 Kalashnikov rifles and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
Seminary officials insist the weapons were legally registered during the previous government and remained registered after the Taliban took power.
