The Taliban authorities have sealed a library in Jaghori district of Ghazni province and collected Shia religious books.
A joint delegation from Taliban’s intelligence, education, and justice departments closed the “Islamic Revolution of Afghanistan” library in central Jaghori, which housed thousands of books on religion, culture, history, and society action follows the Taliban’s previous ban on importing Jafari jurisprudence books into the country. The library contained valuable resources serving the local community’s educational and cultural needs.
In recent days, the Taliban has also prohibited the printing, buying, and selling of hundreds of books in Kabul city, demonstrating a broader pattern of restrictions on literary and educational materials
