Sources have told Amo that the Taliban group has removed three experienced and professional professors from the Faculty of Sharia at Kabul University “without any reason.
” The dismissed professors have been identified as Abdul Matin Shahidi, Mohammad Esami, and Ehsanullah Mubariz.
This action comes as part of a broader downsizing initiative that previously affected Taliban military forces and has now extended to university professors and school teachers.
Sources also report a severe reduction in teachers’ salaries, with some receiving less than 5,000 Afghanis (approximately $60 USD).
Previously, we obtained a copy of a Taliban Ministry of Education plan, ordered by Hibatullah Akhundzada, which aimed to eliminate nearly 90,000 positions under the guise of “organizational balancing.”
Many citizens view these dismissals as part of the Taliban’s ongoing policy against dissenting voices, believing the group is attempting to shape public opinion, especially in universities, according to their own ideology.
