Local sources in Badghis province report that a beheaded body was discovered on Sunday (August 17, 2025) in the “Old Shabpashak Posts” area within the fourth security district of the province.
The victim was apparently killed by knife wounds.
The Taliban group has confirmed this incident but stated that the identity of the victim and their relatives has not yet been established.
The motive and perpetrators behind this murder remain unknown.
