Ibrahim, a 14-year-old from Kunar province, was stabbed to death on Sunday in Daman area of Jalalabad’s 8th district.

The young man, who worked at a second-hand shop, was killed by two other youths following a verbal altercation.

The reason behind this dispute and murder remains unclear, and local Taliban authorities in Nangarhar province have not responded to the incident yet.

This case highlights the concerning rise of violence among teenagers under Taliban rule.

Criminal incidents have significantly increased across various provinces recently, and the lack of proper follow-up has emboldened perpetrators.

Previously in Khost province, thieves kidnapped a young man and killed him after several days, with his body later discovered.
