Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, announced at the Arab Foreign Ministers’ press conference at the United Nations that the Kingdom is not directly involved in negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
Responding to a question from Kamelia Entekhabifard, editor-in-chief of Independent Persian, Prince Faisal bin Farhan emphasized that Saudi Arabia strongly supports resolving this issue through negotiations.
He encouraged friends in Iran, the United States, and European parties to explore every option for a negotiated settlement.
As per experts, Saudi position demonstrates Riyadh’s diplomatic approach to regional issues and the country’s preference for peaceful resolution of disputes in the Middle East region.
