Najib Barwar, an Afghan poet and cultural figure, wrote on social media platform X that Jolani is following exactly the same political path as Afghanistan’s Mujahideen.
He noted that Jolani initially abandoned his Islamic claims and gained political support.
Barwar emphasized that since Jolani came to power, his beard has been getting shorter every day.
He drew a comparison with Afghan Mujahideen, saying they also first befriended America, then changed their appearance and abandoned Islamic caps and symbols.
These statements by Barwar reflect his perspective on the similar political behavior of different regional leaders and their changing positions after gaining power in the Middle East region.
