Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood’s beloved superstar, has officially joined the billionaire club for the first time.
According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025 released on October 1st, the 59-year-old actor’s net worth has reached $1.4 billion (₹12,490 crore), making him arguably the world’s richest actor whose primary income comes from cinema.
The King of Bollywood now surpasses international celebrities including Taylor Swift ($1.3 billion), Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.2 billion), and Jerry Seinfeld ($1.2 billion). After 33 years in the film industry, Khan has maintained his position as India’s wealthiest actor, with the gap between him and other Indian actors continuing to widen significantly.
Khan’s wealth stems from his diverse investments including Red Chillies production house and VFX studio, cricket teams worldwide, and substantial real estate investments in the Middle East.
His business partner Juhi Chawla ranks second among Indian actors with ₹7,790 crore, while Hrithik Roshan follows at third place with ₹2,160 crore.
