Mohammed Zahid, ringleader of a Rochdale grooming gang, was sentenced to 35 years in prison after being found guilty of 20 offenses including rape.
He and six other Pakistani-origin men abused two 13-year-old girls between 2001 and 2006.
Zahid operated from a market stall in Rochdale, using gifts and money to lure victims.
He plied the girls with alcohol and drugs before passing them to other men for abuse.
The victims called him “bossman”. Crown Court sentenced all seven men to a total of 174 years in prison after a four-month trial.
The case highlights the victims’ courage in exposing these crimes after 25 years.
