The people’s tribunal for prosecuting the Taliban group continues in Madrid, Spain, where eyewitnesses have presented shocking testimonies of oppression and sexual harassment.
Moheb Mudassir, the prosecutor of this tribunal, emphasized the necessity of criminalizing gender apartheid.
One of the witnesses present at the court spoke about the impact of the Taliban group’s mistreatment on her children and stated that she was interrogated for not having the clothing required by this group.
She also added that Taliban members sexually harassed her during her commute.
This tribunal, which began on Wednesday, October 8th in Madrid, aims to provide an opportunity for Afghan victims, especially women and girls, to testify about the Taliban group’s extensive restrictions.
The evidence obtained from this tribunal is planned to be submitted to official courts of countries after review.
