Local sources reported that on Sunday, December 7, four teenagers died in a traffic accident on the Shiberghan–Andkhoy highway in Khwaja Du Koh district, Jowzjan province.
The teenagers had traveled to Mazar-e-Sharif for recreation after finishing school, and their vehicle crashed on the way back.
Four people lost their lives and two others were injured in this tragic incident.
On the same day, another traffic accident on the Hairatan–Mazar-e-Sharif highway resulted in one death and two injuries.
These incidents have raised concerns about road safety in the region.
