Local sources told Amu that two explosions struck the Taliban group’s central base in Abdullah Khil Valley, Panjshir province, last night, resulting in at least eight Taliban members killed and several others wounded. The blasts occurred around 7:40 PM in the Manjanstu area.
Following the incident, Taliban forces surrounded parts of Abdullah Khil, restricted movement, and began questioning local residents. According to reports, people were not allowed near the explosion site, and the area remains under tight Taliban control.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and Taliban officials have not issued a formal response. Panjshir has witnessed several similar incidents in recent months.
