Hamdullah Fitrat, a deputy spokesman for the Taliban, has dismissed the UK Foreign Office’s recent advice against traveling to Afghanistan.
He labeled the concerns regarding the safety of foreign nationals as completely unfounded and unnecessary, stating that the reality on the ground is different.
The spokesman assured that nationwide security is fully established across all provinces. According to him, foreign citizens who enter the country with a valid visa and respect local laws will not face any risk of detention or security threats during their stay.
While the UK government recently warned its citizens to avoid travel due to potential risks of arrest, Kabul officials insist the situation is stable. They claim that lawful visitors are welcome and fully protected, urging the international community to acknowledge the improved security environment.
