Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister, has inaugurated the construction of a new flyover bridge in Kabul.

The bridge, stretching from Sedarat Square to Joi Shir road, will be 283 meters long and 18 meters wide.

The project, costing 462 million Afghanis, is designed with international standards and loop ramps to manage traffic flow effectively.

Kabul Municipality aims to reduce congestion in the busy Shahr-e Naw and Salang Watt areas through this initiative.

Hanafi also announced two additional bridges under construction at Baraki Square, with a combined cost exceeding one billion Afghanis.

These projects are part of a broader infrastructure plan to improve the capital’s traffic system.
