The military strikes reportedly resulted in severe financial losses for local merchants, destroying over 150 shops and causing an estimated 300 million Afghanis in property damages.
While firefighters and locals have struggled to contain the massive blaze, the ongoing border tensions and military attacks have already displaced thousands of people in the affected region.
