The highly controversial visit is being planned specifically to discuss the deportation of undocumented Afghan migrants from various European Union countries. Neumann strictly warned that facilitating these forced deportations is a guaranteed recipe for an impending human rights disaster.
Despite massive concerns from international rights organizations, several European nations are actively seeking methods to deport Afghan asylum seekers. The European Commission has not yet issued a formal invitation to the Taliban government for this upcoming technical meeting.
