Local sources have reported that a fierce clash broke out between Taliban government forces and the Pakistani military at the Spin Boldak border. This violent border confrontation reportedly began after a young Afghan child worker was shot and killed by Pakistani forces.
According to the recent reports, this retaliatory battle resulted in the deaths of six Pakistani soldiers. Furthermore, one Pakistani soldier was captured alive, and the body of another soldier fell into the hands of the Taliban government forces.
These escalating tensions occur while recent negotiations between Taliban government officials and Pakistan in China ended without any clear resolution. Pakistan continuously claims that terrorist attacks are organized from Afghan soil, a heavily disputed allegation that Kabul consistently denies.
