During a press conference, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that a significant portion of the recent insecurity in Pakistan is directly linked to this alleged foreign interference.
Chaudhry presented data claiming that security incidents have significantly decreased following recent military operations conducted by the Pakistani armed forces. He further accused India of maintaining continuous contact with certain factions and Taliban representatives in Afghanistan to intentionally destabilize the surrounding region.
These serious allegations come as recent airstrikes by the Pakistan military on Afghan territory have resulted in severe civilian casualties. Amid escalating tensions, tribal elders in the border regions have independently signed a ceasefire agreement to minimize violence, completely bypassing the Taliban government in the process.
