A deadly traffic accident in Kandahar province has resulted in the tragic deaths of six people and left three others seriously injured. The horrific incident occurred near the Logar fuel station in the Daman district of the province.
The Taliban government police command in Kandahar confirmed that the crash involved a high speed collision between a Corolla car and a fuel tanker. All passengers inside the Corolla, who were residents of Nangarhar and Kabul provinces, lost their lives instantly.
The injured victims were swiftly transported to a local hospital in Kandahar and are currently receiving medical treatment. The alarming rise in traffic accidents nationwide has sparked heavy criticism regarding poor road conditions and the absolute lack of traffic signs.
