Pakistan has strongly condemned the repeated terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia. These attacks included the targeting of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, which resulted in civilian casualties.

In a statement released by the Pakistani government, praise was given to the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi Arabian armed forces and coalition forces in intercepting a number of ballistic missiles. The statement highlighted their tireless efforts to protect innocent lives and preserve the security of the Kingdom.

Pakistan emphasized its unwavering solidarity with the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia. "In line with the Makkah Agreement for Joint Defense and the recent decisions of its political and defense strategic committee, our commitment to the Kingdom's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security is firm and unshakable," the statement read.

The statement also declared Pakistan's full support for Saudi Arabia's legitimate right to defend its people and protect its cities and vital infrastructure. Pakistan called on the Houthi militia to immediately cease these attacks.

The Pakistani government concluded by reaffirming that it will continue to stand alongside Saudi Arabia in the face of these threats. This stance reflects the close strategic relationship between Islamabad and Riyadh, which becomes evident during regional crises.

These attacks come amidst international efforts to find a political solution to the war in Yemen, but the continuation of Houthi attacks on civilian targets poses serious challenges to these efforts.
