According to the preliminary results of California’s Congressional District 14 primary election, Aisha Wahab secured 23,296 votes (34.3%), finishing in first place among all candidates. The second-place candidate finished behind her and will advance with her to the November general election, where the two top candidates will compete for a seat in the U.S. Congress.
With a strong lead in the primary and more than one-third of all votes cast, Aisha Wahab enters the next stage of the race with significant momentum.
This achievement is not only a personal success for Aisha Wahab but also a source of pride for Afghan Americans and Afghans worldwide. Her journey reflects the growing contributions of our community to public service and leadership in the United States.
