A severe traffic accident in the Qadis district of Badghis province has resulted in one fatality and left nine others seriously injured. The local police command of the Taliban administration has officially confirmed the occurrence of this tragic incident.
The accident happened on Tuesday morning when a passenger van veered off the road and completely overturned. Emergency responders quickly transferred the injured victims to a nearby local hospital where they are currently receiving necessary medical treatment.
Traffic accidents remain one of the leading causes of unnatural deaths across the country. Over the past week alone, at least twenty-six individuals, including women and children, have tragically lost their lives in seven separate road accidents in various provinces.
