As the deportation of asylum seekers continues, the migration commission of the Taliban government announced that Pakistan deported more than one thousand eight hundred Afghan migrants back to their country in a single day.
Pakistani media have also reported that the deportation process for undocumented migrants has intensified, with nearly six thousand individuals being sent back daily. These returnees mostly enter the country through the Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings.
The International Organization for Migration has confirmed that hundreds of thousands of people have returned from Pakistan and Iran both forcibly and voluntarily in recent months. A significant portion of these returnees consists of women and children.
