The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced the opening of a permanent exhibition of Uzbekistan products in Kabul. The exhibition was officially inaugurated in the presence of the governor of Fergana and officials from the Taliban government.
This development follows a recent visit by an Uzbek delegation to Kabul aimed at implementing economic commitments and expanding trade relations between the Taliban government and Tashkent.
Following the closure of border crossings with Pakistan, the Taliban government has shifted its focus towards boosting trade with Central Asian nations. Uzbekistan remains one of the most crucial trading partners for Afghanistan in the region.
