Tamil cinema star Suriya has unveiled the look of Malayalam actor Naslen in his Tamil debut film, 'Scene'. Naslen will be seen in a role completely different from his usual on-screen persona.
'Scene', starring Suriya and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles, is one of the most anticipated films of the year and is scheduled for a Diwali release. Naslen, who gained fame with the film 'Premalu', will make his entry into Tamil cinema with this movie.
In the film, Naslen plays 'Eeshwaran', a cold and emotionless killer on the run. This role is a stark contrast to the "boy-next-door" image he portrayed in his previous films.
Suriya released a character promo for Naslen and welcomed him to Tamil cinema, writing, "Some introductions are special! Proud that #Scene marks the Tamil debut of the immensely talented #Naslen."
In the promo video, Naslen is seen scrolling through Instagram after committing a murder and planning his next. Meanwhile, Suriya's character in the film says, "We are looking for a faceless, emotionless, inhuman predator!"
The film is directed by Jithu Madhavan, and Naslen's new role is expected to showcase his acting abilities on a new level.
