Pakistan's Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, has warned that Islamabad will take action to end "terrorism originating from Afghanistan" and reserves the right to take any necessary measures if its territory is used against it.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Sunday, October 25, Chaudhry called the Taliban's recent accusations against Pakistan "baseless and unacceptable." He urged the Taliban government to fulfill its responsibilities and dismantle terrorist safe havens in Afghanistan instead of making accusations.

The minister stated that Islamabad has provided Taliban officials with evidence of individuals infiltrating Pakistan from Afghan soil. According to him, this evidence was also shared with Afghan representatives during talks in Istanbul and Doha, but the Taliban government has failed to prevent continued infiltration.

Chaudhry issued a stern warning that if Pakistan is attacked, Islamabad will deliver a "decisive response." He emphasized that Pakistan's government and security institutions are determined to prevent infiltration from across the Afghan border and will continue to take necessary steps to stop it.

This high-level warning highlights the escalating tensions between the two neighboring countries over cross-border security issues. Pakistan has long accused militant groups, particularly the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), of using Afghan territory to launch attacks inside Pakistan.

The minister also mentioned that an emergency has been declared in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province due to a lack of cooperation with security agencies, indicating the seriousness of the internal security situation, which Islamabad links to the cross-border threat.
