International media have reported that the United Nations has added the Israeli government to the black list of violators of children’s rights in armed conflicts.The AFP news agency reported on Tuesday night, June 11, that in 2023, violence against children worldwide has increased by 35% compared to a year before.

This report is supposed to be published officially on Thursday, June 13.Anatolia news agency also reported that the most serious violations of children’s rights occurred in Israel and the occupied territories of Palestine, Democratic Republic of Congo, Myanmar, Somalia, Nigeria and Sudan during armed conflicts.

Based on the information, in 2023, the United Nations has verified about 32,990 cases of serious violations of children’s rights, of which 30,705 cases occurred in 2023.For the first time, the government of Israel has been added to the UN blacklist of children’s rights violators.
