Local sources in Khost province reported that a young man was killed and two others were wounded following a dispute over land in the provincial capital.

According to local sources, the clash occurred on Thursday evening, November 5, among residents of the Koryano village, located in the Matun area of central Khost. Tensions over land ownership quickly escalated into violence.

The sources stated that a 29-year-old man named Faizullah lost his life in the clash. Faizullah's father and brother sustained severe injuries during the altercation and were transported for medical assistance.

Local Taliban officials in Khost province have not officially commented on the deadly confrontation or any potential arrests related to the incident.

Fatal clashes driven by land disputes and property ownership issues are frequently reported across various provinces in Afghanistan. Local residents and observers point to the lack of timely and fair judicial mechanisms to resolve disputes as a major reason behind recurring violence.
