Leaders of Central Asian countries and the King of Jordan are gathering in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to address emerging technological threats and counter the use of artificial intelligence by terrorist groups.

According to official statements from the presidencies of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the meeting is convened under the joint invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and King Abdullah II of Jordan, who co-chair the session.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow have traveled to Astana to participate in the summit.
