The head of the Taliban in the Ministry of Public Health rejected the claim of “National Institute of Health of Pakistan” about the registration of a positive case of polio in Kunar province and said that no positive case of polio in Afghanistan was registered in 2024. Based on the Ministry of Health’s newsletter, Mr. Ebad added that a polio diagnosis laboratory will be opened in the country soon.
