The Center of Afghan Journalists informs about the arrest of Saifullah Karimi, a reporter of Pajhwok News Agency in Samangan province.
The Afghan Journalists’ Center published a newsletter saying that Saifullah Karimi was arrested yesterday after being summoned to the Taliban governor’s office for Samangan.
While expressing concern about Karimi’s arrest, this institution has demanded his immediate and unconditional release.
It is said that Karimi was beaten and then imprisoned by the Taliban governor in Samangan.
